Tell us about your role at Sierra Interactive and what a typical day looks like?

My role is to help people understand how to use Sierra. Whether that is getting more leads with their website, or answering complex questions about Automated workflows.

I’m often on calls with both clients and internal team members discussing high-level concepts or helping a client understand a complex facet of Sierra.

What trends in real estate technology do you find most exciting or impactful, and how is Sierra Interactive adapting to them?

I love following SEO trends as it’s an ever-changing field. There is  never a single one-size-fits-all answer, so I have am continually diving into SEO and learning what helps websites stay on top of the Search Engine rankings. Sierra has always done a great job of structuring websites so that search engines can easily find and index their content. I get a sense of satisfaction every time I can help someone connect the dots on how they can take their websites to the next level.

How do you contribute to ensuring clients receive the best service?

One of my best talents is being able to consume a large amount of information and then share that information with someone in a way that makes sense to them. I’ve always had a skill for meeting people at their level of understanding and bringing them up to mine. It’s why I found such a wonderful opportunity working with Sierra Interactive, first with our Support Team, and now as a Training and Education Specialist: sharing everything I know both with real estate teams using Sierra, and members of our team that service their questions and concerns.

What’s the most memorable trip you’ve taken, and what made it special?

For my graduation present to myself, I planned a weekend camping trip to hike to the top of the Guadalupe Peaks in Texas. I went with one of my friends and his older brother, the drive alone took us 10 hours just to get across Texas! We also made the brilliant decision to climb this mountain in the middle of summer with no sunblock. By the end of the weekend, we were all bright pink from the sunburn, but seeing the stars from near the peak of that mountain and the accomplishment of reaching the top will never leave my memory.

What’s your favorite local spot or hidden gem in your area that you love to visit?

El Huarache is my favorite hidden gem here in Austin. I could live off their queso and salsa and typically will have their breakfast tacos at least once a week. You can also never go wrong with their huevos rancheros.
