Tell us about your role at Sierra Interactive and what a typical day looks like?

At Sierra Interactive, my role focuses on managing workflows, addressing compliance issues and supporting team projects. Starting in January with Jira tickets for Dialer Campaigns, I quickly advanced to lead Special Projects and gained expertise in tools like Cloudflare, GoDaddy and MIRO.

I created workflows like the Listing Locator Beta Project, hosted meetings on compliance issues and supported Tier 1 training. By mid-year, I was running morning meetings, managing private channels and refining processes with Twilio and Sero.

Recently, I’ve trained team members, updated knowledge base articles and transitioned Twilio responsibilities to the Onboarding team. Each day is dynamic, driving platform improvements and team success.

 

How did you first become interested in the real estate industry, and what led you to join Sierra Interactive?

I started in real estate because it has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember—my mom has been in the industry my entire life. Growing up, I spent countless hours watching her work and accompanying her to open houses. Her dedication and passion for the field inspired me to follow in her footsteps, so I earned my real estate license and began working alongside her.

Over time, I discovered a growing interest in technology after getting my degree involving it and decided to explore opportunities in IT. When I came across Sierra Interactive, it felt like the perfect fit. The role allowed me to combine my real estate knowledge with my enthusiasm for technology, creating an ideal balance of both skill sets. It’s been an exciting journey to merge these two passions into a career where I can make a meaningful impact.

 

Can you share a recent project or achievement you’re particularly proud of?

One of my biggest achievements has been spearheading all Twilio-related initiatives at Sierra Interactive. I manage the entire process, including SCP, brand and campaign approvals, as well as handling any incoming port requests. This has been a critical area for our clients, especially with the numerous compliance issues that arose this year. I took the lead in remediating these issues, ensuring our clients stayed compliant and their operations remained uninterrupted.

Additionally, I developed a comprehensive, step-by-step walkthrough to guide team members on how to submit site information for approvals. This resource has streamlined the process, improved efficiency and reduced errors. I take great pride in these accomplishments because they have had a lasting impact on our workflows, client satisfaction and overall operational success.


What’s a hobby or interest you’re passionate about that might surprise us?

I go hunting and make sourdough!

Can’t go wrong with Step Brothers.

 

 

Share a fun or quirky fact about yourself that not many people know!

I was named after a football team. Kansas City Chiefs. 

 

 

Do you have any pets, or is there a pet you’ve always dreamed of having?

Never had a pet before! Once I own property I plan to get cats, a dog and chickens.
